About the Role
An exciting role for a qualified accountant to gain experience by joining the Group finance team here at C&C Group.
You will work with the Head of External Reporting to ensure completion of the Group’s annual and interim report and statutory accounts. You will be a key contact in liaising with the external auditors to ensure a timely and efficient audit process.
Cross-functional working is key as you will collaborate across the business to successfully complete the Group’s Annual Report and Interim Report to specified deadlines. You will also support finance colleagues across the business on complex/non-routine accounting matters.
You will ensure the Group remains fully prepared and compliant with new accounting standards as they need to be adopted and implemented. You will also be a key point of contact for the Group’s external auditors to ensure the seamless completion of the year end audit to specified deadlines.
Team play is vital as you will assist with complex technical accounting such as acquisition accounting, share based payments, earnings per share, hedge accounting, pension accounting and FX, You will also assist with statutory and monthly consolidation and group accounts
You will assist in the completion of statutory accounts in line with agreed reporting timeframes and get involved in lots of dditional Group projects as required
About you
You will be a qualified chartered accountant, Big 4 firm experience would be advantageous. Relevant post qualification experience would be beneficial.
PLC experience would be an advantage. You will have strong technical knowledge of IFRS, inclusive of IFRS 16 and IFRS 9 experience.
You will have experience preparing/auditing Group consolidated accounts for large multinationals.
