Overview

To carry out the administrative duties within the logistics department coordinating transport activities and leveraging systems such as Microlise and JD Edwards (JDE) to optimise performance, visibility, and control across the depot.

About the Role

• To carry out driver de-brief.
• To accurately amend and despatch customer orders as and when required.
• Utilise Microlise to track fleet performance, route efficiency, and delivery compliance
• To carry out and maintain an accurate filing system for all relevant delivery documentation.
• Analyse transport data to identify opportunities for route optimisation and cost reduction
• Monitor deliveries and proactively to aid in resolution to any transport delays or issues
• To support and cover for the operations admin / driver debrief when required to do so.
• Systems & Data Management
• Ensure all deliveries meet customer service standards and agreed SLAs
• The management and timely close out of PODS.
• Act as a key user of JDE for inventory, order processing, and reporting functions
• Use Microlise for real-time fleet tracking, performance reporting, and transport analytics
• Communicate effectively with drivers, planners, and depot team to ensure smooth operations
• Contribute to projects, including system enhancements and process improvements

About You

• PC Skills – Microsoft Excel/Outlook/Access/Word
• Good communicator
• Strong working knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE) and Microlise
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
