    About the role

    An exciting opportunity now exists to join the Group financial planning & analysis (FP&A) team. Reporting to the Head of Planning & Strategy, the successful candidate will gain experience across both internal and external reporting.

    Key Accountabilities 

    • Responsible for the financial planning and analysis function for the business overheads.
    • Leading the management of the group’s annual operations budget, strategic planning, quarterly forecasting and three-year plan processes.
    • Business partnering with C-suite function heads such as Commercial, HR, IT and Legal.
    • Ownership of the consolidation processes for the Group for rolled-up overheads position.
    • Critical review and query submissions into Group for consolidation and follow through on open issues or unreconciled areas.
    • Track and monitor internal and external trends and their implication across the functional area to provide decision makers with insight and critical analysis.
    • Preparation of a central Group reporting pack highlighting key areas of focus.
    • Continuously refine and improve monthly reporting and consolidation packs so that they provide both insight and evidence of a strong control environment.
    • Monthly close and group reporting activities including preparing monthly board reports for senior management.
    • Develop and share relevant reporting metrics and KPI’s across the business.
    • Further develop the relationship and engagement with the Investor Relations team in the preparation of materials including but not limited to, results statements, investor presentations and regular data packs for internal and external use.
    • Manage and track the group capex approval process and subsequent post implementation reviews.
    • Work with the treasury function on Group working capital position.
    • Mentor, coach and develop of at least one direct reports.
    • Involvement in ad hoc projects and deputising for peers / manager as required.

    About You

    • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with minimum 5-8 years PQE.
    • Previous FP&A and reporting experience is preferred
    • Strong IT and systems experience, including advanced Excel.
    • Ability to multitask in an everchanging environment.
    • Proven experience and ability to work to tight deadlines with a drive for results.
    • Flexible self-starter with a high level of initiative and a team player with strong communication skills.
