Role Summary

• 12 month Fixed Term Contract with possible extension

To assist the finance manager in achieving accurate forecasting and budget delivery by providing financial insight and analysis.

Key Accountabilities 

• Complete key tasks to facilitate timely preparation of monthly accounts, including Stock
• journals, accruals and recharges.
• Assist in the delivery of the annual operations budget.
• Provide relevant financial insight and financial data to your finance manager.
• Support key decision-makers with clear communication and analysis.
• Conduct analyses to identify areas for financial improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reviews clearly identifying variances to expectations.
• Ensure any variances to plans are understood and reported.
• Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

About you

• Degree in relevant subject and / or relevant work experience
• Part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA) accountant or working towards.
• Ability to work cross functionally
• Motivated by adding value
• Dedicated to providing user friendly and useful information to financial and non-financial teams.
• Strong work ethic.
• Previous exposure to preparing complicated and detailed financial analysis and reporting, that explains variances to expected results
• Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel
