About the Role
Our accounts services team has recently undergone a huge expansion at our Wellpark site in Glasgow. Adding to that team, we’re looking for a Banking Administrator to join us and assist with the prompt processing of payments.
So what’s involved?
This role is all about ensuring that payments from our customers are banked daily, and accurately posted to customer accounts - ideal for someone with transactional financial administration experience or a graduate looking for their first role within a finance department. We’ve got the processes in place, so you can control the cheque, cash, credit & debits ledgers.
We work with multiple accounts so this role includes reconciliations across a large volume of accounts in a timely & accurate manner. There will also be forex account work in this role.
What you’ll need:
It is essential you are fully competent with Excel, including VLookUp and ad-hoc reporting on large data sets. We do use JDE system, but any other working knowledge of accounting systems would also be beneficial. Of course, given the nature of the work, there’s a high level of self-organisation required and being able to communicate to help the department continue to grow, develop & increase efficiency so as to deliver a first class customer experience.
