Purpose of the role:
Reporting into the IT Business Operations Director, the IT Compliance Manager will have responsibility for the management of IT risk, audit and compliance activities. This includes ensuring IT compliance with company policies, managing internal and external audit responses and management of key IT artefacts such as the IT risk register and monthly KPI reporting.
About the role
The role involves managing all IT-related audit activities, including coordinating internal and external audit responses and ensuring accurate and timely completion of audit requests. This position serves as the primary contact for third-party IT suppliers during audits and license reviews, overseeing all related processes. The role also supports the management and implementation of audit recommendations, risks, and internal controls, while maintaining the IT Audit Risk Register. Additionally, the role is responsible for producing key IT reports, such as governance and KPI reports, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. A focus on continuous process improvement is essential, along with fostering strong relationships with IT peers and business stakeholders to enhance cooperation and efficiency across the organization.
About you
You ideally bring experience in a compliance role, particularly within IT, and have supported the successful completion of internal and external audits. You have a strong background in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, and a proven ability to tackle complex issues proactively and efficiently, communicating intricate information clearly to others. You are experienced in supporting the implementation of policies, systems, and controls, with a focus on driving progressive improvements. You excel in working to deadlines, adapting to changing conditions, and generating effective, pragmatic solutions in dynamic environments.
