Purpose:
The compliance technologist role will be responsible for the administration and the running of our compliance systems. This ensures that Matthew Clark / Bibendum (MCB) products remain safe and legal and meet both the customer and the consumer expectations.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that specifications are completed accurately and on time by our supply base. You will manage the updating of specifications within retailer portals, preparing them for approval by the technical manager. Additionally, you will administer the quality management system for MCB, ensuring adherence to the sampling and testing regime, with any concerning results escalated to the technical manager. The role also involves overseeing the administration of the bulk preshipment sampling regime and ensuring that our supply base maintains the necessary certifications.
About you
You have a strong understanding of wine production, coupled with knowledge of HACCP and food safety principles. Your experience working with UK retailers and within a quality management system ensures that you can effectively navigate industry standards. Additionally, you're familiar with the bottling process and wine chemistry, and you have a solid grasp of GB food safety and wine legislation, which further enhances your expertise in the field.
