About the Role
Reporting to the C&C Group Operations Finance Director, as the Finance Manager for CS&L, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our organization. Your responsibilities include leading the finance team, developing robust financial policies, and ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our operations. You will be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, providing insightful financial analysis to support the management team in achieving its targets.
Key Accountabilities:
You will develop and implement financial policies, guidelines, and controls to optimise efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction within CS&L. You will also Conduct strategic and tactical financial analysis, modelling, and evaluation to support decision-making of the C&C Group Operations Board.
Continuous improvement is important in this role as you will drive improvements in logistics performance and efficiency, identifying areas for enhancement and presenting business cases for management consideration. You will also lead the budgeting process for CS&L and report against customer service and operational KPIs aligned with lean strategy.
You will collate high-quality Management Information on a regular basis, providing fit-for-purpose analysis of internal and external trends.
As the Head of Finance you will recommend and implement changes to improve financial performance and controls. Strong Leadership is key as you will manage and develop a high-performance team of dedicated finance professionals.
About You
You will be a high energy, excellent people manager with great communication and analysis skills. As part of this key leadership role, you will need to be inquisitive, a driven self-starter, and strategic thinker.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are vital as is excellent financial and business acumen. You will have a strong technical background and be adept at implementing new financial processes and procedures.
You will have outstanding analytical capability with a strong commercial outlook. You will be an excellent communicator with great presentation skills, capable of dealing with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a strong work ethic and be comfortable with risk and ambiguity.
Ideally you will have knowledge of the wider drinks industry, competitive landscape, key players, and current drivers of market and regulatory change. You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW) with relevant industry experience.
