  • Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Information Security to join our Technology senior leadership team. The Head of Information Security will play a crucial role in leading and managing our information and cyber security strategy, ensuring the protection of our data, systems, and assets from internal and external threats.


    About the role:

    As the Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive information and cyber security program.  You will establish and maintain security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

    You will lead and manage internal or external security teams with strong collaboration with Legal and Data Protection.  You will also provide strategic direction and guidance on security matters to business units and Technology functions.

    As the leader of Information Security for the business you will oversee security operations, risk management, architecture, governance, and incident response functions.  You will also conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate security risks.

    You will manage and allocate security resources effectively and efficiently.  You will be well networked ensuring you stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.  You will represent the business in external forums and events and building relationships with security peers, vendors, regulators, and law enforcement agencies.

    Collaboration and communication are key as you will developing and maintain a security awareness and education program across the business.

    About You:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    You will have a professional security certification, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.  You will also have proven experience in information and cyber security in a senior leadership role.

    In-depth knowledge and expertise in security frameworks, standards, and best practices are needed in this role.  You will also have strong technical skills and experience in security technologies and tools.

    You will have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.  You will also have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    In this key leadership role we need business acumen and strategic thinking, aligning security objectives with business goals.  You will have High ethical standards and integrity, handling sensitive and confidential information.
