  • Location: Birmingham Depot 

    Hours: Full-time (36.25hours) - Monday to Friday working with the occasional weekend during peak periods. 

    Type: Permanent 


    What you’ll get up to

    You’ll be ensuring that the depot is delivering professional, safe and effective transport operation meeting all budgetary and Heath and Safety requirements.

    The job holder will be responsible to ensure the smooth management of the Transport Operation, with responsibility for the delivery of Cost, Customer Service, Legal Compliance, People KPIs as well as being responsible to ensure we deliver a balance working week – in line with O'Licence obligations, company and legal standards requirements.

    Responsibility for the Transport team (25 crews plus Transport Shift Managers and Team Leaders) and their development as well as the fleet and compliance on a day-to-day basis, supporting the management team as and when required.


    What we look for in you

    - CPC qualified with O-licence management experience (Additional £2000 skills payment per annum for being Depot O'Licence holder)

    - Self-driven, results focused with a positive outlook

    - Natural forward thinker who strives to improve the business

    - Experience in a management role within a fast moving and changing work environment.

    - Ability to operate accurately to deadlines and under pressure

    - Good knowledge of Health and Safety
