  • About the Role

    The role of the Stock Controller is to maintain rigorously high standards around stock levels and system integrity within Company guidelines at Port and to provide efficient, professional and customer-focused service within agreed budget parameters. They are also responsible for Port inventory management, inclusive of reconciliation for key stakeholders and achieving required stock KPIs while supporting Port with an inhouse warehouse service.

    Shift times: Monday to Friday, 0600-1400.
     

    Key Accountabilities 

    • MCB integrity reconciliation – Port, Mac Scott, Accolade Park, Encirc
    • C&C integrity reconciliation
    • Facilitate, monitor, review stock returns (customer)
    • Responsible for stock KPI’s
    • To ensure that OOS are recorded, investigated & remidial action taken
    • Inbound receipt issue & resolution
    • Outbound despatch issues & resolution
    • Warehouse service & best practice
    • Inbound forecast support
    • MAC, Scott & Accolade stock reconciliation
    • To support Port on company stock takes
    • To ensure goods inward are checked and reconciled for quality & quantity

    About you 

    • Background in Stock Control, supply chain and/or operations preferred
    • Good working knowledge of HMRC compliance and regulations
    • Ability to remain organised & focused whilst managing multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, organisation, problem solving & coordination abilities
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Resilient when under pressure
    • Results focused, with good analytical skills
    • Demonstrable understanding of our business/market/industry
