    About the Role

    Working across multiple teams, the Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all processes relating to the C&C brand portfolio (owned, agency, equity & supplier) allow us to deliver our activity efficiently, effectively and enable delivery of our growth ambitions and overall business strategy. At the heart of it, this role will allow for best-in-class execution of our brands through the channels to create a clear, competitive advantage for C&C GB.

    The role will be responsible for leading the implementation of key change management programs/projects on behalf of the C&C portfolio, managing, and enabling the cross functional teams in GB to deliver our commercial objectives. A significant part of this role will be the management of the portfolio workstream of our Integrated Business Planning cycle.  The role will support the portfolio chair to lead the process and act as the conduit for all the inputs/outputs in the business cycle.  This is a pivotal new role for the business in driving forward operational excellence in a complex environment.

    The role demands a person with a transparent open attitude and a collaborative winning spirit. Operational expert, an agile mindset, someone happy to get ‘stuck in’ and develop and implement new processes and drive impact quickly.

    Key Accountabilities 

    • Manage the portfolio stream of Integrated Business Planning and lead the development of the annual commercial brand planning cycle for C&C GB.
    • Develop an operational support stream within the business that delivers a best-in-class operating model for C&C’s portfolio and activity.
    • Underetake the development of ways of working for “activity planning” for GB Commerce teams and all impacted functions, delivering focus and economies of scale. Manage the process day to day.
    • Manage the development and delivery of consolidated & prioritised rolling initiatives programme, based on a core programme of major platforms, calendar event support and on-going category driver supporting activities.
    • Manage the total portfolio activity including evaluation of business impact, navigation through marketing and business process, directing onward communication and providing logistical and implementation solutions.
    • Manage effective post-launch initiative tracking processes to trigger Sales and Marketing remedial action and optimise success now and in the future.
    • Budget management in conjunction with the business unit finance lead.​ 


    About you 

    • Deep understanding of Project & Programme Management in a multi layered business environment.
    • A master at stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels and provide clear communications. Excellent presentation skills.
    • Flexible, proactive management style with proven ability to drive cross functional working to deliver business objectives on a daily basis.
    • Understanding of business risk and how to manage this within wider business to drive impact and correct behaviours. Adept at managing in ‘reactive’ situations
    • Highly organised, process driven, and outcome focused with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Agile and able to work well under pressure.
    • Excellent understanding of the Business, Markets, Customers, and Competitors.
    • Adept at using business insight to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Good understanding of Customer and Supplier relationships.​ 
    • Exceptional knowledge of operational capability and process.​ Able to develop skills, competence and capability across teams.
    • Unbiased, independent, and objective thinker
    • Ability to think both strategically and operationally.
    • Never satisfied with the status quo – always looking to improve effectiveness.  ​
    • Working knowledge of Stage and Gate/project management process.​ 
    • Awareness of the end-to-end impact of initiatives and effect on P&L.   
    • Capable of working with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity while remaining responsive to change
