About the role
You will lead the maintenance and asset care activities on the assigned production line or process area and work with the line team to ensure the efficient and optimum running of the line at the lowest cost to the business to support Clonmel’s production requirements.
As part of this role, you will undertake daily, weekly, and monthly activities within your own department to ensure quality, delivery and a continuously improving service for our internal and external customers.
Shift work will be required, and a shift premium will be paid on top of salary.
What you'll be doing
You'll be assisting the achievement of all Quality, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Environmental and Food Safety standards on the line. This will mean being accountable for the efficient running, improved operational performance and overall conformance to plan of the assigned production line / process area.
As a key part of the site team, you'll be playing a critical part in driving the Energy and Environmental programs for the site. The role will include managing the asset care of all line equipment to ensure it's maintained in optimum condition and the completion of all assigned work types and reduction in MTBF and MTTR.
You'll also act in a supporting role to the Team Manager to ensure line performance targets are met and will actively participate as a full team member on the assigned line and cover equipment where trained and appropriate. Leadership skills would be beneficial as you will be training, and mentoring operators and other technicians will also be part of your responsibilities.
