    Job Title:        Sales Support Team Leader x 2

    Location:        London or Bristol

    The Role

    Acting as the lynchpin between our customers and sales teams, this department is responsible for providing reporting & analysis, administration support, and point of sale orders for the sales force. You will be held accountable for ensuring a proactive, efficient, and capable team can continually support the sales teams to reach our company wide objectives. As the team continue to develop and evolve, a key part of your role will be driving improvements, consistency, and capabilities of the team through establishing a culture of continuous improvement and acting as a facilitator of change within the team.

    As a key figure within the Commercial Operations Team, you will be responsible for the development of the team ensuring that key deliverables and KPIs are achieved. To do this, you will be effective as a line manager to motivate and lead the team to success, but you will also establish and develop relationships with key internal stakeholders acting as a point of contact for senior leaders within the business.

    Some of the key activities involved in your day-to-day include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Managing processes and resources effectively and efficiently to out-perform standards, business KPIs and objectives.
    • Providing coaching and training where appropriate to ensure team members are upskilled and subject matter experts in process and reporting.
    • Liaise with senior members of the sales teams to create effective working processes.
    • Actively encouraging continuous improvement within the team, establishing project teams and process improvement idea generation.
    • Working collaboratively with all Commercial Support Leads to ensure cohesive, consistent, and efficient processes exist and are delivered in parallel across the entirety of the GB sales force.

    About you

    We believe that whilst it is important to have the core skills to be competent in a new role, we want to ensure that you fit in culturally here at C&C, which is why we recruit based on behaviours, however if you have gained strong people management experience in a Sales/Operation and or supply chain environment this is going to be highly advantageous.

    The Commercial Operations team are on a journey through change, so you should possess a track record of inspiring, motivating and mentoring people with you as changes to process, ways of working and best practice are implemented.

    Relationship building is key in this role, so you must be able to demonstrate your ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders. Much like life, not everything goes to plan, so you must be adaptable and have the ability to pivot your priorities so that the best result is achieved in all situations whilst always keeping the end user, our customers, at the forefront of decisions. You must not be afraid to challenge or be challenged on how or why something is done, just because it has always been done that way doesn’t mean it should stay that way.
