    We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract to support the business in attracting, engaging, hiring, and inspiring the diverse talent we need to succeed as a business. You will be focused on supporting our Customer Service and Logistics teams making sure the best hiring processes are in place so that our managers can deliver an exceptional candidate experience, every time. This role is all about pace, helping candidates find the best jobs, problem solving and maximising the candidate experience.

    This role will suit somebody who is organised, dependable and customer centric and looking to gain experience in Talent Acquisition.     This is a UK remote based role with travel to all our Depots across the UK and Contact Centres in both Bristol and Glasgow when required. It is important that you see the value in meeting your stakeholders face to face.

     

    About the role

    Working closely with both the Depot Management and the Talent Acquisition Team, you will be responsible for supporting an efficient recruitment process.

    • This will include helping hiring managers to set up job requisitions using our ATS system (Harbour), scheduling interviews, screening candidates, direct sourcing of candidates, as well as developing and maintaining candidate pipelines. 
    • Owning the process of obtaining and storing Right to Work documents and compliance with GDPR with candidates will also be a key.
    • Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders is imperative for the role. You will be required to follow up with hiring managers to ensure candidates are receiving feedback in a timely manner as well as ensuring the ATS is kept up to date for accurate reporting and audit purposes.
    • Providing a customer-focused service to candidates and hiring managers is a real focus for the role to have a successful impact on both the business and the candidate experience.
    • Conducting telephone interviews to validate candidate applications. A key part of this process will also be to notify unsuccessful candidates at the end of each campaign, dealing with requests for interview feedback and providing administrative support to ensure the successful conclusion of recruitment campaigns.       
    • There will be an element of processing recruitment data within the role, to provide guidance on hiring trends to relevant Stakeholders, to include summarising data for reports.

    As mentioned above, in order to fully engage with the teams, and really get to understand the business function, travelling across the UK to visit our depots will be required

     

    About you

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual who thrives in a busy and fast-moving work environment.

    • Strong verbal communication skills are an imperative quality for the role, along with the ability to influence key stakeholders, whilst building effective working relationships to help the business achieve its objectives.
    • You will be a good negotiator with strong people influencing skills.
    • You’ll be able to cope with change, shift gears comfortably and be able to decide and act without often having the total picture.
    • You will be adaptable, flexible and solution focused and be able to help different members of the team at short notice.
    • You will have experience of working with IT Systems, such as Microsoft, databases and Excel.
    • A passion for providing excellent Customer Service is what drives you.
    • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail. This role brings with it lots of different challenges and tasks, so you’ll have a can-do attitude and be comfortable working unsupervised, whilst being organised with strong administration skills.
    • Experience in an on-site recruitment environment would be great but is by no means essential. If you have transferrable skills, we can train you on all the elements you need to be successful in this role.
