    The role

    Due to some changes within the business due to growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a National On-Trade Director to lead the HORECA Team in the delivery of annual Profit and cash-flow performance targets, aligned to the target operating model and using knowledge of environment - competitor, supplier and customer activity and market. This is a senior leadership role with genuine scope to build and enhance existing business and ways of working

    Duties will include, but are not limited, to the following:

    • Build and deliver an appropriate commercial strategy for defined customer groups within the HORECA channel based on market, competitor and structural insight that localises the wider C&C model to deliver outstanding customer experience.
    • Responsible for the delivery of the annual profit and cash plan through a multi-functional team, with analysis of performance and creation of appropriate action plans.
    • Delivery, development and management of our customer base, our own brand / invested brands and agency brands distribution and activation targets.
    • Responsible for the monitoring and analysis of performance across sales and continue close working with operations.  Working with central support functions to take remedial action to deliver against budget. 
    • Representing C&C GB with customers, supplier, and appropriate trade bodies.
    • Leadership and development of the channel through consistent and thorough application of people development and performance measurement frameworks, optimising the relationship between sales and operations
    • Working with the wider business to develop the operating model to drive out lean practises and consistent customer experiences. This will require operating in a matrix environment
    • Work on shared initiatives, taking the lead on behalf of Exec colleagues on multi-functional projects across the business

    About you

    • You will possess demonstrable experience of leading substantial teams in either functional or general management roles, from the drinks industry
    • A proven track record of delivery of profit and growth in previous roles
    • Prior experience of working on projects delivery and change management initiatives, fostering a continuous improvement environment & culture
    • Extensive coaching and mentoring skills with a history of developing people at all levels in an organisation, with an emphasis on a coaching
    • Experience of operating in a change driven organisation with high degrees of ambiguity
    • In-depth knowledge of the GB drinks industry – the competitive landscape, the key players and market drivers
