  • Job Title: Business Development Manager

    Location: Bristol, Gloucestershire, South Wales & Somerset

    The role:

    Your goal? To see that key customers, generate the profit and revenue we expect. You will focus on independent strategic accounts, and with the help of the new business team, you will spot any big opportunities.

    Main duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Prepare and implement Designated Customer Channel plans
    • Identify and evaluate all large incremental business opportunities
    • Develop and implement a channel contact strategy that enables Matthew Clark to maximise commercial opportunities
    • Achieve agreed profit targets for the account base by designated channel Collaborate with the new business team to maintain an up-to-date prospect data base showing revenue and profit opportunity
    • Be responsible for 20-40 Customer groups across Bristol, South Wales, Gloucestershire and Somerset

    About you

    To be considered for the role you will have:

    • Demonstrable experience of Account Management from within the On-Trade industry, but if not, we feel that transferrable skills from a FMCG background would be more than enough, including multiple account operators within a region.
    • Experience with networking at a key and multiple account level
    • First class written and oral communication skills
    • Strong client relationship and key stakeholder engagement
    • WSET Level 2 qualification is preferred as a minimum, however we will provide training as required
    • Educated to minimum ‘A’ level or equivalent
    • Full Driving Licence 6 points max
