    About the role

    We are on the lookout for a media savvy creative communication expert with a keen interest in the drinks and vibrant hospitality industry – one of the fastest growing parts of the economy over the next five years – to join our growing Group Communications Team.

    You will be working closely with our Head of Communications and Group PR Manager to bring our vision, values and purpose to life.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the Group PR & Communications Manager to co-ordinate and execute the Group PR plan, in line with the overall Group communications strategy.
    • Create target trade and consumer media lists and generate Group PR coverage across all media to amplify vision, values and business strategy.
    • Collate and organise Group PR coverage and prepare monthly coverage reports for Group Executive Committee.
    • Draft all press and media communications in line with the Group’s key messages.
    • Assist with the preparation of annual reports, company statements, web-based news articles and media interviews.
    • Draft quotes and information for media features on behalf of Group Executive Committee, GB and Ireland leadership teams.

    About you

    • Proactive, with energy and enthusiasm to connect with people and build strong relationships.
    • Ability to work in partnership with internal teams and external agencies, in a fast-paced environment, to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communicator and commercially aware.
    • Further education in communications, digital and/ or marketing, which could be a degree or a relevant vocational qualification.
    • Minimum 1 years’ experience in PR (drinks industry and media networks/ contacts an advantage), with a strong understanding of UK and Ireland trade and consumer media channels.
