- Take ownership of the 3pl logistics network planning, implementation, monitoring and core relationships, working collaboratively with the team to provide efficient cost effective use of resource
- Manage day-to-day logistics requirements & liase with relevant departments
- Ensure compliance with PODing
- End-to-end service accountability for Port deliveries
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Customer escalation point for direct supply, C&C, depots
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure that we have adequate and balanced forecasts on logistic requirements to handle peak and drop in demand
- Review day-to-day management of teams performance & 3pl performance
- Manage team/ 3pl improvement plans to improve efficiency & maximise throughout
- Form part of functions leadership team on major projects
- Facilitate operational meetings with stakeholders
- Take ownership of the team’s labour & hours planning models
