What you'll be doing
You'll have accountability for supporting the delivery of driver safety, security of vehicles and goods along with vehicle environmental performance as well communication, escalation and provision of advice and guidance on all aspects of operational requirements affecting people, product, property and as well as any regulatory requirements.
The role is a key conduit in the company’s governance arrangements and is central to ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
You'll drive vehicle safety and associated operational change over the business, provide continuous improvement in all areas of vehicle risk management through benchmarking and best practice.

Professional qualifications TMCPC holder with experience of managing multiple sites and FORS Practitioner. The post holder is expected to hold strong communication and influencing skills so as to be able to articulate technical requirements to non-technical audiences. Be computer literate (MS Word, PPT, Excel) and have a demonstrable track record of delivering organisational performance improvements in terms of culture and risk management. Knowledge and experience of implementing fleet standards i.e. FORS and a background in fleet engineering is desirable.
Subject matter expertise and considerable knowledge and experience gained in a similar role with a multi-site organisation of similar size and scope and stakeholder management with warehousing & logistics management knowledge and experience. Previous experience of embedding a real culture of risk prevention and mitigation advantageous.
