    We have an exciting to join the Group financial planning & analysis (FP&A) team. Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, the successful candidate will gain experience in all aspects of planning, reporting and analysis. 

     

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Supporting the Group FP&A Manager in all aspects of the financial planning and analysis function for the business overheads including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles
    • Assisting with the production of the group’s annual budget, strategic planning, quarterly forecasting and three-year plan processes.
    • Partner with senior stakeholders across functions (e.g. HR, IT, Commercial, Legal) to provide financial insight and challenge.
    • Detailed and timely analysis and reporting of overheads and payroll data.
    • Contributing to the preparation of a central Group reporting pack highlighting key areas of focus.
    • Lead on commercial analysis to support decision-making at a senior level
    • Manage monthly close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reviews. 
    • Critical review of entity level balance sheets, following up on queries and resolving any outstanding issues and unreconciled items
    • Produce, enhance, and present reporting packs, KPIs, and management information at Group, Exec function and entity levels.
    • Monitor trends and provide clear, actionable insights to support business performance.
    • Support CapEx processes, working capital management, and wider ad hoc projects.

     

    Skills and Experience: 

    • Recently qualified with a professional body such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent (or part qualified, near completion).
    • Previous analyst experience is preferred
    • Strong IT and systems experience, including advanced Excel.
    • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
    • Proven experience and ability to deliver results against tight deadlines.
    • Flexible self-starter with a high level of initiative as well as Team player with strong communication skills.
