About the Role

• Hybrid role, 3 days per week in the office

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join C&C’s On Trade Commercial Finance Team, covering RoI.

You will work closely with the wider C&C Commercial Finance Team and Business Partner with the On Trade Sales Team, providing insight and adding value to commercial decision-making.  You will work with the Head of Finance and colleagues across the wider business in reviewing, analysing and reporting performance versus internal Budgets and wider market performance.

Key Accountabilities 

• Assist in the delivery of the On Trade strategy and budgeted profit.
• Lead the preparation and review of all relevant reports and submissions, including weekly reports, period reports, budgets and re-forecasts for your individual channels.
• Lead the preparation of monthly commercial reviews, clearly identifying variances to expectations, risks and opportunities.
• Provide channel specific insight, KPIs and financial data to the wider Commercial Finance Team and Senior Leadership.
• Provide business partnering with constructive challenge and support.
• Conduct analysis to ensure that strategic/ commercial/ financial/ operational decisions are being made that continuously add value to the business.
• Conduct analysis to identify areas for financial improvement.
• Support key decision-makers through critical research and analysis.
• Work with various teams – out-with Finance - across the business.
• Act as Finance contact in wider Group projects, as appropriate.

About you 

• Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong commercial awareness and business understanding. 
• Able to simplify and present complex data / information in a clear and user-friendly manner, including to Senior and non-financial colleagues.
• Confident working cross-functionally.
• Able to deal with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
• Confident reviewing and challenging Commercial forecasts and proposals.
• Strong work ethic and motivated by adding value.
• Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel.
