    Overview

    This role partners with leaders across Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Tech & Data, Legal and CoSec to translate and deliver people priorities in a way that strengthens performance, capability and culture. As a People Partner, you act as a trusted advisor, combining commercial insight, challenge and support to help leaders build effective teams and make confident, well-judged people decisions. The role is forward-looking and grounded in practical action, focused on improving team effectiveness, developing leaders, building capability and shaping a great colleague experience.

    About the Role

    • Translate the People Plan into clear, function‑specific priorities that support performance and growth.
    • Partner closely with leaders, providing insight, challenge and practical advice.
    • Use people and business data to identify priorities, risks and future opportunities.
    • Align structures, roles, capabilities and ways of working to current and future business needs.
    • Support talent, succession and capability planning aligned to business and future skill needs.
    • Partner with Talent to shape learning, development and resourcing solutions for evolving capability needs.
    • Provide people and business insight to support fair, consistent reward decisions.
    • Enable inclusive, engaging and accountable team environments.
    • Coach leaders to own engagement and drive meaningful improvements in team climate and performance.
    • Provide commercially grounded people guidance, addressing issues early and consistently with ER support.

     

    About You

    • Strong commercial acumen, linking people decisions to business outcomes, risks and opportunities.
    • Ability to translate strategy into clear, people‑focused decisions and advice.
    • Confident using people and business data to identify priorities and trends.
    • Effective communicator who influences and builds strong stakeholder relationships.
    • Experienced in supporting organisational change as roles and capabilities evolve.
    • Forward‑thinking, with insight into future capability and workforce needs.
    • Adaptable and solutions‑focused in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities while driving delivery and execution.
    • Confident with digital tools and interested in emerging people technologies.
    • Strong working knowledge of employment law, applied pragmatically with specialists.
    • Travel will be required to ensure effective partnership with your business areas and to stay closely connected to the teams you support.
