    About the role

    As the Brands Dispense Technical Manager, you will be responsible for governing all aspects of brands dispense operations across GB. You will manage the relationship with our technical service providers, ensuring they deliver against contractual obligations and agreed service standards that enhance brand growth and customer experience whilst driving cost efficiency. This includes driving contract governance, setting clear expectations, and creating robust internal processes and policies that protect brand integrity and enable operational excellence. You will use your technical knowledge to define standards, acting as the technical subject matter expert, influence best practice, and partner constructively with internal stakeholders to deliver improvement. Leveraging data and insights, you will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and future-proof our dispense strategy. 

    Key Accountabilities

    • Act as the governance owner for brands dispense operations across GB, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand growth through robust processes and standards and seamless execution.  
    • Own and maintain product pouring specifications for all C&C brands, safeguarding brand integrity and quality standards in conjunction with the Operations Quality Team and ensuring these are effectively communicated to all technical service providers. 
    • Establish and embed best-practice governance frameworks and processes for brands dispense internally and across supplier to drive consistency, operational excellence, cost efficiency and brand integrity. 
    • Ensure full compliance with industry standards, the sixth edition code of practice for dispense of beer by pressurised systems in licensed premises (COP 6th Edition), health & safety, legal, and food safety standards across all dispense activities. 
    • Drive sustainability initiatives within dispense operations to reduce environmental impact and support C&C ESG goals. 
    • Act as the primary relationship owner for our technical service provider, ensuring delivery against contractual obligations, communicating C&C standards and expectations to deliver best-in-class service in line with industry standards and health and safety parameters. 
    • Build strong relationships internally to support brands dispense operations from grain to glass ensuring adherence to all industry standards, brand quality parameters and right outlet, right brand. 
    • Monitor supplier performance against SLAs, proactively identifying gaps and implementing corrective action where performance is adverse to agreed standards. 
    • Conduct regular reviews, performance meetings, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to agreed standards. 
    • Support contract governance and continuous evolution and improvement of processes to optimise cost-to-serve and service quality. 
    • Develop supplier capability through knowledge sharing, and best-practice guidance. 
    • Lead all brands dispense projects and equipment innovation initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to evaluate and enhance performance. 
    • Champion continuous improvement across processes, technology, and service delivery to future-proof operations. 
    • Explore and implement emerging technologies and digital tools to enhance reporting, monitoring, maintenance, and performance optimisation. 
    • Identify operational risks related to brands dispense and develop robust contingency plans to ensure business continuity and mitigate potential disruptions. 
    • Own all reporting for brands dispense activities, delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights to inform decision-making. 
    • Analyse performance data to identify trends, optimise cost-to-serve, and support fact-based recommendations. 
    • Drive commercial value through proactive contract management, rate card validation, and identification of cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. 
    • Identify and implement cost-efficiency opportunities while maintaining service quality and brand standards. 
    • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Procurement to review spend, eliminate waste, and negotiate value-added agreements. 
    • Support forecasting and budgeting for all dispense-related activities to ensure financial control and accountability. 
    • Review all monthly spend, ensure that all invoicing is accurate and in line with agreed rate cards. 

    About you

    • Proven experience as a technical authority, setting expectations and influencing cultural and process change across multiple stakeholder groups 
    • Ability to design and implement governance frameworks and internal processes, and translate technical standards into practical policies for non-technical stakeholders 
    • Strong experience in managing third-party technical service providers, driving accountability through SLAs, compliance audits, and structured performance reviews 
    • Strong knowledge of dispense systems, technical standards, COP 6th Edition and health & safety compliance 
    • Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract governance and financial accountability. 
    • Track record of delivering cost efficiencies without compromising quality 
    • Experience developing performance scorecards and using insights to drive supplier performance and internal decision-making 
    • Ability to lead innovation projects and implement new technologies. 
    • Comfortable operating in an evolving environment, balancing immediate priorities with long-term improvement goals
